Italy’s famous Tuscany region earned its fame for more than just great wines, breathtaking rolling hills and being the birthplace of some of the world’s most accomplished renaissance painters. It is also famous for its beautifully rustic architecture, which served as the inspiration for Dryvit’s remarkable Tuscan Glaze.
The exterior of buildings once roamed by the likes of da Vinci, Michelangelo and Alighieri can be recreated by using Dryvit’s Tuscan Glaze. Buildings of all types can be colored and textured to meet specific designs or simple artistic flair. Tuscan Glaze is a tintable acrylic stain that can be applied to acrylic or elastomeric finishes, providing a dazzling “Old World” or “antique” look to the building exterior.
Because Tuscan Glaze can be applied over a broad spectrum of Dryvit finishes, it provides the designer with great flexibility in achieving the preferred look. Skilled applicators can create the level of mottling desired.
