The Tower at Cardinal North Hills is a newly constructed 18-story senior housing facility on top of two levels of garage parking. It includes 151 independent living units and 41 assisted living units.
To match with the existing neighborhood aesthetics, Dryvit’s Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) provided over 183,000 sq ft of drainable cladding, a fluid-applied air/water-resistive barrier, 2 in. EPS insulation, a Sandpebble® textured finish with Dirt Pick-Up Resistant and Hydrophobic chemistry. The silicone sealants from Tremco Sealants ensured long-lasting waterproofing, while the continuous insulation improved energy efficiency to reduce operating costs and enhance the retirement community’s overall performance.
