Designing the Tulsa Premium Outlets outdoor shopping mall in Jenks, Oklahoma required an array of exterior aesthetics to attract and retain high-end retail tenants and their customers. To maintain the visual impact of the complex, Dryvit’s drainable EIFS were selected in nine different colors and two textures. These options, along with patterns cut into the EPS foam, molding and other shapes, added dimensionality to the façades. A compatible fluid-applied air/water-resistive barrier (AWRB) sealed the entire structure, enabling interior trades to commence sooner. The owner ultimately received one warranty for all the EIFS and termination products.
The streamlined approach delivered a stunning, energy-efficient retail space. Continuous insulation in the EIFS cladding addressed Oklahoma’s hot summers by maintaining comfortable interior temperatures and the high-performance, VOC-free finishes ensure long-term durability and fade resistance.
The Tulsa Premium Outlets even earned the prestigious Award of Merit in the Retail category at the 2024 EIFS Excellence Awards by EIMA.
