For this 209-unit apartment building, the Keauhou Lane Transit Oriented Development (TOD) architects and owner wanted the façade to mirror the community's unique natural features. Inspired by the colors and textures from the surrounding salt beds, the project needed an affordable solution that matched the quality and look of stone and metal.

Dryvit's TerraNeo and Reflectit finishes were the perfect alternative. TerraNeo mimicked the texture and grey tone of stone, while the Reflectit recreated the vibrant, metallic orange of tessellated salt. Combined with Dryvit's Outsulation Plus MD system, the façade not only captured the desired aesthetic but also ensured durability and efficiency for the structure, helping to earn Platinum LEED Certification.

Keauhou Lane is a beautiful addition to Honolulu's landscape and highlights the necessity of form and function in modern building solutions.
