This Cincinnati, Ohio Healthcare Campus includes housing for assisted living, Alzheimer's patients and retirement residents. During initial design, the owners envisioned sophisticated earth tones for the building façade to match the warm, comfortable interior and integrate with the project's natural surroundings.
To meet the construction budget, Dryvit Outsulation Plus MD was selected as an energy-efficient exterior cladding solution for its range of finishes and color options that delivered the aesthetics the owners wanted at a cost they could afford.
The applicator worked closely with the project architects to execute the design goals, developing mock-ups to demonstrate how Dryvit's finishes could replicate the look of granite and limestone. "On this project, we used three different finishes, TerraNeo®, Lymestone™ and Sandpebble® DPR finish with a unique color match, to get the look the architects wanted for the exterior," said Jeff Hudepohl of Valley Interior Systems. "When we finished this project, it was amazing. The architects and the owners were just shocked at what the products could achieve. As a result, I've seen this material being used more and more on these kinds of buildings."
