Panzer 15 Mesh

15 oz/yd² Reinforcing Mesh for Dryvit Systems

A 15oz/yd² (695 g/m²) mesh recommended for all ground floor and high traffic areas. (Must be installed under Standard Plus or Standard Mesh). Panzer 15 is a specially-woven and treated glass fiber mesh, used with Dryvit base coats to provide strength and impact resistance. When embedded in the Dryvit base coat mixture, the glass fiber reinforcing mesh provides continuity of surface to resist cracking and to increase impact resistance.

FAQs about Panzer Mesh

The base coat of the EIFS is reinforced with fiberglass reinforcing mesh. In areas prone to abuse or high impact, a second layer of heavier fiber mesh (20 oz/sq yd), applied first, can be added to the standard mesh (4.3 oz/sq yd).

The reinforcing mesh in EIFS gives the exterior cladding greater impact resistance and longevity to minimize ongoing maintenance. The fiber mesh also provides strength and flexibility in multiple directions during thermal movement cycles.
