The Outsulation RMD System from Dryvit has been engineered specifically for residential, wood-framed (one- and two-family) construction projects. It is designed to work with Dryvit or Tremco air- and water-resistive barriers or the sheet-type barriers common in residential construction. The system incorporates a drainage plane between the barrier and the continuous insulation, allowing incidental water to weep to the exterior.
With multiple attachment options, the Outsulation RMD system can be mechanically fastened to acceptable substrates with Dryvit-approved fasteners or adhesively applied over lath.
